BLACK & DECKER ELECTRIC DRILLS

The Black & Decker Electric Drill motor is a “universal” motor. It will operate on either direct current or singlephase alternating current.

VOLTAGE SPECIFICATIONS:  If voltage is not specified on dorder, drill will be furnished fo 115 volt current; but it can also be supplied with 220 volt motor. Following are voltage rangers for motors supplied for nominal voltages as shown.

Safety Features:

• Overspeed Brake Assembly – Automatically trips and locks the wire rope to the frame should the unit exceed normal travel speed.
• Manual Safety Brake – The manual safety brake locks the wire rope to the frame at all times unless held open to allow for travel. It prevents any uncontrolled movement.
• Speed Reducer – Gear box has a 30 to 1 ratio from the motor to the drive pulley shaft. Once reeved and in the air, the wire rope is locked into the speed reducer by pressure of the unit’s load and the self-locking fairlead.
• Automatic Idle – Stops the wire rope from paying off when the unit reaches the ground or other obstacle such as a ledge; this eliminates the danger of upset.
• Overload Mechanism – Automatically stops all upward movement if the unit is overloaded or catches on a protrusion.

 

Standard Model D-800 and Fold Down Models FD-24 & FD-18

Designed for use on swing stages, platforms and with HI-LO work cages. The fold down articulating stirrup aligns with the wire rope and its rigging point, thereby making it easier to transfer from one working position to another.

SWING STAGES AND PLATFORMS

HI-LO CLIMBERS are designed for use with a wide variety of swing stages and platforms. Features rugged construction, reliable performance and quick simple reeving. Optional guard rail support attachment can be installed to either front, rear, or both edges of the stirrup frame. Either model D-800 or the FD-24 may be used with conventional swing stages, platforms and work cages.
